| Audiometrage Live Set |
Audiometrage Live Set is brought to us by the producer, engineer and artist, Daniel Cantero. It is a new concept of live music performance beyond a standard DJ set. He plays his own music through the manipulation of object put on top a round table, illuminated and translucent table that launches the sound in an audible and visual way. Every move he makes, such as drawing a line next to an object or turning it over the table, has an immediate response in the blinding graphics effects. The result: an innovative and powerful audiovisual performance.
To achieve this, Daniel Cantero has been working hard to extract all the potential of the well-known Reactable, musical instrument that has received multiple awards* and international *acclaim. The reactable was designed and created by the Music Technology Group of Pompeu Fabra University, where Cantero studied a Master in Sonology and where he get in touch with this technology which made possible the transformation of his musical activity into a new performance.
He has demonstrated a total comprehension of the sound from the creation until live music performance, and an advanced use of the reactable prototype that he is reinventing in his own way, integrating computers in his Live Set to create a musical interaction in real time. He has become the first artist who has created his own sounds and launches them through the reactable live.

Under his belt he has several productions and performances, both individually and with renowned producers of national and international scene.
He can adapt this performance to any musical instrument. In fact, he has already collaborated with musicians of wind and percussion instruments.
The Audiometrage Live Set displays all kinds of musical creativity manipulating the music alive. His Set is adaptable to any musical style or instrument, and it can go from down tempo electronic music (ambient, chill out, IDM, psyambient, lounge), to dance music rhythms (techno, trance, house music …) and more complex experimental soundscapes.
